AI Content Generation Terms Effective Date: 7th October 2024

These terms govern the use of Pixpa’s AI-powered tools, enabling you and your users to generate text, images, or other content (referred to as "AI Tools"). These terms are incorporated into Pixpa’s general Terms of Use and outline your rights, responsibilities, and limitations when using AI Services.

 

1. AI Tools and Content Generation

Pixpa offers AI Tools designed to assist in generating content for your website, including text, images, or other forms of media. These tools allow Users to provide prompts (“Input”) and receive AI-generated content in response (“Output”). You are solely responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to use, publish, or modify this Output on your Website.

 

2. Output Accuracy and Limitations

AI-generated content may not always be accurate, complete, or meet your expectations. The Output might be biased, contain errors, or infringe on third-party rights (e.g., intellectual property or privacy). Pixpa disclaims responsibility for the accuracy, legality, or quality of the Output. You should treat AI-generated content as a suggestion, not a final product, and review it carefully before using or publishing it.

Output may not be unique to you and could be similar or identical to content generated for other users. Pixpa does not endorse or assume responsibility for any Output created by AI tools.

 

3. Ownership of Input and Output

Input Ownership: You retain ownership of any Input you provide to the AI Tools.

Output Ownership: You also retain ownership of any Output generated, subject to applicable laws. However, Output that includes pre-existing content owned by Pixpa or third parties will be subject to those intellectual property rights.

License to Pixpa: By using AI Tools, you grant Pixpa a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use your Input and Output for improving our AI tools and services. This includes sharing them with third-party AI providers, as necessary, to provide and enhance the Service.

 

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Reviewing Output: Ensuring that the Output is accurate, reliable, and compliant with all applicable laws before using or publishing it.

Legal Compliance: Ensuring that both your Input and Output comply with Pixpa’s Terms of Use and any applicable laws, including intellectual property and privacy laws.

End-User Compliance: If your website allows end-users to interact with AI Tools, you are responsible for informing them of the limitations and reviewing the Output before publishing.

 

5. Restrictions on AI Use

You agree not to use the AI Services to:

• Mislead others by presenting AI-generated content as human-created.

• Provide medical, legal, financial, or professional advice through AI-generated content.

• Generate or publish content that promotes harm, violence, or illegal activity.

• Use AI tools to input personal information without consent, including sensitive data such as health, race, or religion.

 

6. Third-Party AI Providers

Pixpa’s AI Tools may rely on third-party AI software providers. By using the AI tools, you agree that your Input and Output may be shared with these third-party providers, who may use the data in accordance with their own policies. Pixpa is not responsible for third-party actions and encourages you to review the policies of these providers.

 

7. Disclaimer of Liability

Pixpa disclaims all liability for the accuracy, completeness, and legal compliance of any Output generated by AI Services. You are solely responsible for reviewing and deciding how to use the Output, and Pixpa makes no warranties regarding its fitness for a particular purpose.
